Ben Affleck is a free man. Now that he’s no longer married to Jennifer Lopez, he’s doing all the things that he once loved to do before their short 24-month marriage.

While he was married to the Latina superstar, Ben was forced to follow a strict diet and workout regime, as part of his wife’s lifestyle. But clearly, that wasn’t him. In fact, it never was him.

He only did all of that stuff to appease his wife. Because if there’s anything that we’ve learned about Jennifer Lopez from over the years, it’s that her image and her appearance means everything to her.

That’s why she pushed Ben to look just as good as she did during their marriage. Well, at least she tried.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “Ben loves McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Jack in the Box, and Starbucks coffee drinks and treats. When he got back with Jennifer, Ben felt deprived of his favorite foods and snacks and sodas.”

The insider added, “But now that (Lopez) is finally gone, he can go to town and put his stomach through the kind of workout only he can appreciate.”

Not only that, but ever since Ben and Jennifer pulled the plug on their marriage, the Hollywood actor has had a better relationship with his other ex-wife, Jennifer Garner. The two of them have managed to co-parent under a less stressful environment than ever before.

If that weren’t enough, Ben has also picked up smoking cigarettes again, but no one seems to be as bothered by it as Jennifer Lopez was during their short marriage.

In other words, Ben is doing everything that he wants to do and doesn’t care about what anyone has to say about it. He’s basically living his best life again.

So far Ben Affleck himself has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
